We're Hiring! E-Commerce & Sales Coordinator

Arcadia Modern Home is a curated furniture and home decor store rooted in modern, comfortable, livable design. We are a growing small business with a strong in-store presence and an expanding e-commerce platform. And we’re looking for someone who thrives in both worlds.
This is a hybrid role combining sales, customer service, logistics, and e-commerce management, with a strong emphasis on maintaining and growing our online store.

About the Role
The E-Commerce & Sales Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring our online store runs smoothly from the moment a customer places an order to the final delivery in their home. While you will assist customers in-store and support sales, the primary focus of this role is managing and optimizing our Shopify website, online orders, freight logistics, and digital customer experience. This position requires strong organization, proactive communication, and confidence coordinating freight and delivery details.

Compensation
This is a full-time position with a starting wage of between $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Opportunities for growth will be available as the role and company continue to expand.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce & Order Management:
• Manage all online orders from placement through final delivery
• Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates
• Respond to customer inquiries via email and live chat
• Maintain accurate product listings, pricing, and inventory
• Add new products and remove discontinued items
• Curate and update “Best Sellers” and “New Arrivals” collections
• Perform regular website audits to ensure functionality and accuracy
• Manage Shopify apps and perform basic troubleshooting

Logistics & Freight Coordination:
• Obtain freight quotes and compare shipping options
• Coordinate freight bookings and schedule pickups
• Communicate with warehouses, suppliers, and carriers
• Track shipments and monitor delivery timelines
• Contact customers prior to delivery to confirm details and readiness
• Ensure delivery instructions are clear and properly communicated
• Confirm deliveries are completed successfully
• Resolve delivery issues, damages, or freight claims promptly and professionally
• Maintain organized records of shipping documentation

Marketing & Promotions:
• Plan and execute an e-commerce promotional calendar
• Launch site-wide sales and limited-time promotions
• Coordinate discount codes and campaign setup within Shopify
• Support seasonal campaigns and online events

Sales & Showroom Support:
• Assist customers in-store with product selection
• Provide exceptional customer service and design guidance
• Process sales and support daily showroom operations
• Maintain a polished, welcoming retail environment

Qualifications
• Strong computer proficiency (required)
• Shopify experience (highly preferred)
• Experience managing online orders and product listings
• Comfortable coordinating freight and logistics
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve independently
